The
publisher of this website became one of "The Men At Home"
in 2011.
Thanks to the economic
crash, I had to close my business. I've long published a number
of websites, so that became my primary occupation and a source
of (limited) income. My wife, fortunately, has a good job
which she enjoys and which provides health insurance for us.
I've read or heard
reports of an increasing number of men who find themselves
in what might be considered a role-reversal, and my own experiences
led to the creation of this site.
How do men adapt
to the role? How do they cope? How do they learn to do what's
necessary to maintain a household? Is there a mental impact?
A social impact? And can they cook?
The site is intended
as a resource for stay-at-home men, the "men of the house".
It's also intended to provide a bit of humor, or levity.
We'd like to see
women, and maybe some children as well, participate here.
If you'd care to
partipate by contributing to the blog, please contact
me.
Welcome!
